PROGRAMS BUILT FOR HER JOURNEY.

Every program we offer is designed with one purpose — to meet women and girls where they are and walk with them toward where they want to be.

Two Core Programs. Three Community Initiatives.

2nd Time Around serves women and girls through two signature programs and three community-focused initiatives. Each one is intentional, each one is needed, and each one reflects our belief that transformation is possible at every stage of life.

Core ProgramWomen's Program

HerJourney

More Than a Class. A Journey Toward What Comes Next.

HerJourney is our signature program for women who are ready to make a change and build a better future. Each woman's journey is different, so her support should be different too.

The six-week HerJourney course is ONE component of the larger HerJourney program — not the entire journey.

The HerJourney Pathway
1
ASSESS

Understand Her Story

We take time to understand each woman's current situation, needs, goals, challenges, strengths, and immediate concerns.

2
CREATE HER PLAN

Her Individualized Plan

Each woman receives an individualized HerJourney Plan based on her goals, strengths, needs, and identified areas of support.

3
LEARN

The Six-Week HerJourney Course

Through the course, women work on personal development and rebuilding from within — self-awareness, emotional intelligence, accountability, communication, boundaries, healthy relationships, decision-making, self-worth, goal setting, resilience, and breaking unhealthy cycles.

4
CONNECT

Community Resources & Connections

Women are connected with appropriate community resources, services, programs, and opportunities based on their individualized needs — housing, education, employment, healthcare, counseling, recovery, legal resources, childcare, transportation, financial education, and more.

5
MENTOR & ADVOCATE

Continued Guidance & Support

Women receive continued encouragement, guidance, mentorship, advocacy, accountability, and support as they work through their individualized journey.

6
FOLLOW THROUGH

7 • 30 • 60 • 90 Days

HerJourney does not end when the six-week course ends or when a referral is provided. Our follow-through keeps us connected and accountable long after.

7
HEAL • GROW • TRANSITION

What Comes Next

Success is not simply completing a six-week course. HerJourney is about helping women move toward greater confidence, stability, independence, healing, opportunity, and continued growth.

The Follow-Through

7 • 30 • 60 • 90 Days

HerJourney does not end when the six-week course ends or when a referral is provided.

7 DAYS
CHECK IN

Early follow-up, identify immediate barriers, and make sure connections are moving forward.

30 DAYS
PROGRESS

Review progress, resource connections, goals, challenges, and additional needs.

60 DAYS
GROWTH

Continue mentorship, accountability, advocacy, support, and adjustments to the HerJourney Plan when needed.

90 DAYS
TRANSITION

Review progress, celebrate milestones, document outcomes, and determine the woman's next step.

SAME WOMAN. NEW MINDSET. BIGGER POSSIBILITIES.
“Every woman has a story. HerJourney helps her write a stronger next chapter.”

LET'S CHANGE LIVES SCHOLARSHIP

Different Paths. Same Potential. Brighter Tomorrows.

The Let's Change Lives Scholarship creates opportunities for students enrolled in alternative schools who are ready to take their next step after graduation. We believe a student's educational path, past challenges, or circumstances should not determine their future. Success can take many forms, and this scholarship supports students who are ready to continue building theirs.

This scholarship is open to students of all genders.

APPLICATIONS & NOMINATIONS OPEN JANUARY 5, 2027

Scholarship Overview

The Let's Change Lives Scholarship recognizes alternative school students who demonstrate growth, resilience, determination, accountability, and a desire to create a better future.

Recipients may pursue:

College & Higher Education

College, university, community college, or another approved post-secondary educational program.

Trade & Career Training

Trade school, vocational education, certification programs, technical training, or another approved career pathway.

Entrepreneurship

Students who want to pursue entrepreneurship may apply to use the award toward an approved business opportunity, business education, training, supplies, equipment, or startup-related needs.

Two Ways to Be Considered

Student Application

Eligible students may apply directly for the Let's Change Lives Scholarship.

Guidance Counselor Nomination

School guidance counselors may nominate and submit an eligible student for consideration. Academic performance should not be presented as the only measure of a student's potential.

Serving Second Chances

12 Months. 12 Acts of Service.

Serving Second Chances is our community outreach initiative rooted in the belief that service is a way of life, not a one-time event. Each month, we show up in our community with a different act of service — from resource drives and care packages to community events and acts of kindness. Twelve months. Twelve acts. One consistent commitment to our community.
